Vancouver's first and only green wedding fair was launched in 2010 to help you plan a locally rooted, eco-friendly wedding that truly reflects how you've chosen to live. Over forty eco-friendly exhibitors showcased their wares and services in the Grand Ballroom of Main Street's landmark Heritage Hall.

Win unique creations and local services from the Gift Table, get great DIY advice for handmade favours and invitations, and take a few moments to smell the flowers. Have your hair styled, your hands massaged and your heart captured by the beauty of our eco-couture.

Our Green Commitment

We've asked our exhibitors for a Green Commitment and we ourselves are committed to operating in a sustainable manner.

Our efforts last year were documented in a sustainability audit. We're proud of our efforts to manage our waste and offset our footprint, and will continue to look for ways we can improve.

The Grassroots Wedding Fair is for those couples that don’t find what they are looking for at a traditional wedding fair - a way to plan a meaningful celebration that matches their way of life.
