Inspiration for the Grassroots Wedding Fair
The Grassroots Wedding Fair was the inspiration of Shona Dion of sweet earth photographics.
Shona is a Vancouver based photographer - one of only eight photographers in Canada to be a member of Greener Photography.
When she planned her own green wedding, she realized that there were few meaningful options for eco-conscious brides and grooms. These options were tough to track down because they were often smaller, locally based artisans and businesses that weren't part of the traditional wedding industry.
Shona was inspired by her own experience to help make it easier for eco-conscious couples to plan a meaningful celebration.
